Mrs Longbottom and Mr Lupin,

I am writing on behalf of Headmistress Vector. We've finalised our schedule for the remainder of the summer, and would like to run the details by you -- specifically, the most time sensitive of the lot is our proposed timeline and security plan for the memorial and service week we've planned for students and families. We also would like to work out the timeline for preparation for student arrival at the start of term to facilitate the smoothest possible transition and give the Government of Albion time to make arrangements for alternative facilities.

Would either of you or a suitable representative be available for a meeting in the next week? It should take no longer than an hour or two.

Lastly, the Headmistress will be interviewing for staff positions. Do you require a list of candidates for security purposes? If so, please do let me know.

Regarding the job candidates... Where is Septima planning to do the interviews, at the castle or down in Hogsmeade? I'd want to screen people before bringing them back to the castle, but if down in Hogsmeade, it's not necessary, except inasmuch as we'd probably want to screen them before a final hiring offer. I think my preference is that she interview in Hogsmeade and we screen finalists but that may be more work for Septima.

Meeting at Hogsmeade should be acceptable. If we go down that road, we might require some assistance from the Auror and Enforcer units just to make certain she and whoever she's interviewing won't be targeted -- Hogsmeade's been quiet, so it's not incredibly likely, and the Headmistress isn't concerned, but I am. Even a simple ward set-up would help.
