Did they give you any trouble about Fang?

Pip and Laurie practically tripped over each other trying to tell Mum and Dad I've got a girlfriend. So now they want to know if they'll be able to meet you (which, honestly, is the last thing either of us need). I told them not to go jumping to conclusions, right? (Also, I'll be hexing my brothers silly as soon as possible. And maybe transfiguring their presents into coal, at least temporarily.)

But, if you're able to get to New London at all, let me know and I'll try to meet you. (Without Mum and Dad, don't worry!) And if not, I'll just send your presents there.

Oh it has been quite a day! I have been back and forth, Floo to this house, Floo to that, well I could not tell you how many times. Because it was very many. Some people have the nicest kitchens. But the nicest kitchens do not always have the nicest people. Although when people are surprised while having a screaming fight it is probably no wonder that they get cross.

Do you like jam? Because they are giving me some. I could share with you.

Oh and there was no trouble about Fang. They have not given me trouble about anything really. It is too busy for trouble.

I do not think I can. Get to New London at all, I mean. I don't suppose you would like to come here and help out for a day? Because Mrs Stretton told me to ask my friends. And it would be all right if you came. Because Ron came today and helped and she was happy about that. Mrs Stretton I mean. Well Sally-Anne was happy about it too I think. But I don't suppose you could. Anyhow I don't think there will be time for me to get out. Because there are more baskets stacked up to deliver than there were when I got here because people are still ordering more.

Sorry, Megs, the twins were mad hyperactive today, with Pip and Laurie and me all home. Plus they're just old enough now to know what Christmas means, and they're dead excited. Mum keeps telling them it's not for another three days!

Anyway, it took ages to get them to bed and then Dad wanted to talk to the three of us about school.

So.

I think I could come tomorrow. Do I need a broom?

You don't need a broom but you had better wear robes that are not your best ones because the Flooing leaves one untidy sometimes. Though it is important to look businesslike if doing deliveries. But Mrs Stretton is so busy she doesn't know which end of her wand is which I think so you can probably wear anything and it would work.

It will be brilliant!
