SNOW!

Anyone have good suggestions for getting across to the Greenhouses this afternoon? Zach says snow shoes but why waste an opportunity, say I? We ought to spend the free hour building a massive slide, eh?

Or we could maybe tunnel our way there. Or make a giant bridge. Coming, Megs? Els? F-F? Sue?


Oh! And 6th-years, don't forget to sign up for Apparation lessons; did you see the signs in the common rooms this morning? I reckon if you've learned in CCF you might not need the lessons, I dunno, though. It seems like somehow you'd have to take your exam to prove you can do it safely.

The slide is brilliant! I don't have Herbology today, but I just had to give it a try. And there's a whole collection of snow creatures by the west side of the castle, and someone's charmed the snow-dragon to have smoke coming out of his nostrils. I think it was Professor Brutka, but I can't be sure.

Snow is great fun, don't you think? Except Fang is of the opinion that I put it there on purpose to annoy him. I took him out to enjoy it earlier and you have never seen such a reproachful look as the one he gave me.

It's just as well that all the foolishness with the Leg-Locker has stopped, because trying to hop across to the Greenhouses in snow like this would be a bit much. Although it would provide amusement for our fellows as someone said the other day. But snow is enough of an amusement for me, thank you!
